I'm trying to delete my entire backseat. I removed the entire backseat and both plastic panels today and then found the mini Sub behind the Left plastic trim panel. I unhooked the system thinking I would be easy to remove the removal process seems straight forward but by doing so I no longer have usable audio with the truck. the goal here is to completely remove that JBL section and ether relocate it or hook it up without it. I've now re installed the Left trim piece while I ask for advice on the next step and plan to cut an L shape out of Plywood as to make a raised sub-floor so I can build some compartments and still access the taco storage under seat compartments.

I'm also looking to relocate or replace the JBL sub and amp under the front seats and buy a new head unit. I'm thinking it might be easier to replace every thing head unit, amp, speakers and most of wiring. I believe all the speaker wiring( fr,fl,rr,rl and sub) come from the JBL amp.

I'm also looking at getting rid of the sub behind the rear seat. I'm trying to find a way to just get the room for storage back. Saw another sub that said bypassing the JBL amp is possible but other comments said the amp had to stay to act as a digital processor as well? I don't know much about this, so I'm just parroting things right now. Thread I found: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/replace-oem-jbl-sub-and-add-an-amp.546017/

@devale @toglide @LimeTreeTaco If you are looking to sell the OEM JBL sub and stock Plastics, I may be interested. I have a 2010 DC and i am looking for the Stock sub enclosure and plastics.

    Thanks
