Has taco tunes changed at all?

i went out and picked up some jbl 6.5's today. I had some speaker adapters in my Amazon cart, but they just didn't look right. So I went to ********* nod and placed an order. Got curious as to how easy the install was. So I started looking around here and discovered that they pretty much take there sweet time with shipping. I surely don't want to wait a month to get my stuff. Have they changed or do they still suck?

 

Mr Marv For the Win. ********* sucks and has sucked for a long time. Go with Mr. Marv the quality to me was 10 times better than *********. And the plus he responds to e mails, and has great Customer Service.

 

Yeah, so I've heard. Only problem is I've already placed my order. I've sent them an email. Gonna wait a couple of days to see if they respond. If not, I'm going to TRY to cancel the order.

 

Did you pay by Paypal? If so that will make it a little easier to cancel it.

I ordered and they were shipped 4 days after. The USPS took their sweet time but I had no issue with them at all. The door mounts were perfect for the tweets and mids. If you go to their site and the live help box shows up they will talk you through it as well, that chat was helpful as well

 

I appreciate their quality installation videos ! I'm surprised they actually share the tips and knowledge as much as they do. But thats about it.

Their recently redone website is confusing as hell and doesn't even load properly at times, which tells me they are on the cheap with their server hosting and webdesigner/mainenence. I judge them to be a poor internet vendor, and would completely stay away. They have a bad rep on other toyota enthusiast websites as well.

 

When I used these guys fur my 2010 Double Cab. 1 they took forever to ship them. And 2 after installing all the adapters, none of the door skins would go back on over the speakers. All the adapters had to be removed and trimmed heavily for the door skins to go back. Mr Marv FTMFW.

I got my new tweeter adapters from Taco Tunes. No problems from me I got them in about a week and a custom size. Their website leaves alot to be desired though in terms of functionality.

 

Well, I've yet to have a completed transaction with them. USPS says they will be here tomorrow, but according to their website, the package is still in San Antonio. They better put that bitch on a fast plane if it's going to make it tomorrow!
