Was very lucky with my '90 base 4X4, no keying. However a couple of buttheads did hit it in parking lots and took off when I was not around. Just got a used 09 base 4X4 and good luck so far, knock on wood!

I have many scratches from all the trees, bushes, shrubs and ocotilio plants from tight trails. If my truck was keyed it would not be apparent until the next time it was washed and waxed.

I believe it has been keyed before I owned it. The scratch looks like it was from a fence or branch or something, but it doesn't run just horizontal, it's got some vertical parts to it as well. It's not deep enough to look like it was keyed though. Who knows, whoever did it may just suck as keying.

Yes I have been keyed. I let the gf drive my truck after not having it for a month it got keyed on the passenger side from frender to back door. I was so pissed I didn't talk to her for days. Luckily I have a white truck and I used this product called quixx scratch remover and it helped blend the scratch to the paint. I get pissed every now and then when I go to wash and wax the rig and see that long fine line on passenger side.

bushes like to "key" my truck.... I just call it my custom pin striping. People i know look at me weird. They dont understand offroading i guess

Edit: If you go offroading and get custom pinstriping people wont key your truck because thell see your truck and be like "wow, he doesnt even care" so they know it wont bother me so they dont do it

My Parents Had their 2001 Sequoia Keyed just a week after driving off the lot. It was in 2001 and we all went to the store and my dad was driving. He was not driving or acting like as ass and yet the SUV was Keyed. They keyed the whole driver's side and keyed a 2 foot sad face on the hood!! Some people are just retarded and do things with out motive!

My dad used to have an '85 Mustang GT 5.0 that he kept nice...the thing was his baby. He never acted like an ass and yet it was always a magnet for assholes. They keyed, vandalized, even tried stealing it several times.

Haters are gonna hate. Eventually it got sacrificed to the Cash for Clunker gods the other year. I hated to see it leave, but it was becoming more of a hassle for him than it was worth.

My dog keyed the shi*t ouuta of my truck last week, or pawwed I should say. I rescued him from a shelter, great dog, awesome temperment, obedient, however, while driving in the truck I have kept him leashed to the baby seat bracket thing just to keep him out of the front seats. Well last week I rolled his window down to far and he was really hot so he jumped on out while I was driving. Nearly hit telephone pole pulling over to stop. I get out and hes hanging by his neck, back paws on the ground, front paws clawing his way back up the door. I couldn;t believe what I saw, two years of doing my best to keep this truck as perfect as I can all washed down the drain in a matter of seconds. Whatever, im over it, its a truck and is two years old now, not exactly new anymore. lol

Someone keyed Fuck you into my door.

Only 3 possible reasons in my mind.

    1. AF decal on my truck
    2. Wash Caps Logo on my truck.
    3. I was parked in my spot but both me and the car next to me was huggin the line and maybe they were too fat to squeeze in.
