So you are enjoying your car ?

Sales are plummeting from last year.
    http://carsalesbase.com/us-car-sales-data/honda/honda-ridgeline/
    History repeating itself.

They sold 50 cars per state on average last month. Wow !
    That is absolutely pathetic.

Come on now. Let's be fair. You're drinking the Honda Kool-Aid, right? And there"s nothing wrong with that....'cause you own one now.

Question. As a Tacoma owner, would it raise an eyebrow or 2 on "Ridgeline World" if I hung out there? I'm sure some would say I was only there to stir up things...or maybe to justify my purchase.

Bottom line? What could I possibly add to "RLWorid" that most RL owners would care about? Not much.

I think you get what I'm saying

I would be very interested in seeing someone pull the supercharger off an S to see how it was done and how it would work on a taco.

Lotus uses the non DI/AC 2GR. Much easier to supercharge

There are a few different versions/tunes. But the bottom line is Lotus uses the older, basic 2GR that was in the Camry/Avalon up until this year....still in the Avalon for now

I'll mulligan my response.......I am, Thanks for asking. Enjoy your Taco.

I just checked out HROCF (Honda ridgeline owners club forum), not a ton going on over there. Similar issues and complaints as here, some RL specific.

No, they are "Can I fit 35's without a lift?" or "Which Tacticool wheels and tires should I buy?"

On the market as it were
Naval ships and power plants were commonly turbines as well.

Not really the same engines. Vastly different set ups as far as carbs, intakes, heads, exhaust manifolds etc. Massey Ferguson wasn't poking Corvette three fifties in their combines...

I kinda get the vibe that there is much more commonality with the Taco's 3.5 and its car counterparts.

They give the thing a healthy tow rating, within 500lbs of my current 15yo half ton. 265hp @ 4500 rpm vs 278 at 6000 rpm... ok, kinda high peak but may be comparable at 4k. A lot of these new engines have have nice broad power curves. 350lb-ft at 2500rpm vs 265 lb-ft at 4600 rpm... uh Houston... we have a problem.

I don't tow my tractor much anymore aside from one show and I am not sure by the time I get the trailer, load it and haul it if it is much faster than driving. Despite the tow rating (which I think is over optimistic/inflated) I would never try it with the taco.

Wow...I have a 2016 SR5 that runs like a champ, I use the ECT Button, I added a shift sense pro for the tranny and it runs great, it’s not a race truck but if your not happy then get rid of it...some people are just never happy..sorry..

Second gen torque peaked at 4k.
GM and Nissan both at 4k torque. GM HP peaks at 6800 and nissan at 5600.

It's a midsize truck, its pretty comparable to its peers.

None of these V6's compare to a V8.
