Dude, I've had a Z71, 4wd tacoma, and 4x4 F150 that were all lifted with the whole off road package. I travel all the time to my hunting property and go off roading. I've never done rock crawling and all that other jazz, but I've gotten through everything I've needed to get through and used 4wd twice. Other than that I own have three 4wheelers to use to haul stuff out of the woods. 4wd is a waste of time unless you truly need it, which most people don't. I've had a pre runner that I've used for the last three years and its served me just fine! I've driven through mud and sludge just fine, and I've also been through 2-3 inches of mud with no issues...

You're right, I didn't use it yesterday.....in April.....where there was still 6 inches of icy snow on the ground on a mountain road I happened to be on.

I mean they have awesome rigs, but honestly I just wish they'd say they get some financial assistance. ;)

    Plus they're 2WD.
