Hating & loving teams from the same city?

Ok so i catch flack because i am a pittsburgh steeler fan. born and raised that way. they are the closest team to where i live so i feel like they are the closest to a hometown team i can get. now, i am a wvu fan. and for anyone that knows the history of wvu, we hate PITT!! so, i catch flack for telling PITT to eat shit on Saturday, and rooting for the steelers on Sunday.

i argue two totally different sports. if i was a bengals fan, i reckon i would catch flack for wishing wvu to beat the cinci bearcats and rooting for the bengals on sunday too! so fellas, am i wrong here?!?!
