A quick update for the forum. I did take it on a 1500+ mile road trip since posting.
Before I left, I disconnected the reverse sensor thinking it would cut my backup lights and the reverse beep, but it had no affect on the beep. I cleaned it and reconnected it.
I decided I'd just put up with the beep, but on the entire trip there, it didn't beep a single time. Mainly dry roads, but once I got to CA, it started raining for the next several days, and the beeping returned. It seems to now be happening only with the brake engaged when the turn signal is also engaged. When this happens, it beeps on an interval. This may have to do with the flasher from the turn signals? Not sure. I believe that its likely a short somewhere that worsens with moisture/humidity. Probably conducts better? It still isn't happening every time I drive, but enough to be annoying! I examined the splice for the backup camera, and it seems to be a good dry connection. I may disconnect it anyways to remove the variable.

    Quite mysterious.

I’m guessing the reverse sensor is on the transmission. Cleaning it, you cleaned the sensor, removed and cleaned the sensor, cleaned both connectors? I’d look closely around here since cleaning made the problem go away until it rained.

The reverse camera splice. What splice method was used? Twist n tape, automotive style connector, crimp terminals, solder n heat shrink?
