    Hi CO TW!

I have a thou to spend, hopefully less, on a new wheels/tires set up for my truck.

Went thru 20+ pages in the trading post, hard to see what is still currently out there.

Have a "2 lift on the truck, could just get some 265/75/16 tires on worst case, but would like some new wheels as well.

Any good retailers you'd suggest or know anyone looking to deal?

    Thanks.

    -Mike

You may need to provide some specifics to get some advice/recommendations:

Wheels: Alloy or Steel? OE or aftermarket? Looking to get a wider stance, or stay with stock track width?

Tires: P or LT? How will you be using them (goes to tread style/design): All highway, a mix of on/off road, aggressive offroading, etc.

New or used for either/both? Sounds like you may be open to used. If so, do the wheels need to be trail rash-free, or are you willing to buy scratched up wheels and tires with some wear?

I'd gladly sell you the wheels and tires off my truck for a thou this second, but would feel <temporarily> guilty about it since they're not worth that.

Hi Mikeorav and welcome to TW. I just bought a new set of wheels and tires. Looking to sell my old set. I have motometal 951 wheels (16X8) with 265 75 16 good year wranglers authority. The wheels are in very good shape, the tires are good for another 6months maybe a year depends on how much you drive. The wheels alone cost me over $600...if you are interested I will give you the whole set for $400.

If you are going with after market wheels I would check out Tirerack.A wheel and tire package ready to put right on your truck delivered to your door already mounted and balanced is an easy way to go...

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm really open to any and every option, but mainly want the best bang for the buck.

Since you're open to anything, check CL. Plenty of wheel and tire sets for sale there, and you can haggle the price.
