You should be in good shape with your transmission mods. Wish I did them back then.

I currently do want to keep the ecu. Try car part .com or Lkq to find one.

The ecu was a direct swap with no other mods needed to run on my rig. Without boost it was fine. Putting the SC on I couldn't even make it to the main road with hearing ping. It had colder plugs and tighter gap. Walbro 190 pump (now aem 340 ethanol pump) I had the Fic wired in and began to pull timing. Quickly the ping went away after that.

The truck is definitely more alive with those mods even N/A’d.

No prob on the ecu, thanks for the recommendations, Lkq is dry but il check out car parts.com

Do you recall what your original ecu was or what month your truck was made? My driver door label tells me mine was June of 96.. I’m just comparing that to the different ecus that are available. Thanks again I appreciate your help.

Well happy 29th revolution around the sun for your rig. I was worried that your truck was newer-ish than mine and the harnesses / ecu / sensors wouldn’t match up and the 04321 ecu wouldn’t work. I’m working on sourcing that ecu and will report back.

Question, Any 1996 3.4 4x4 autos running the 04320 ecu with a supercharger?
