Have a seat?

i traded my tundra in for the Tacoma, the only thing I miss is the power seat. One would think if you have a manual seat it would not be hard to manipulate the seat forward and backwards but it is very hard. Mine seems very hard to move from one position to the other, when I finally do get it to move I have jerked it so hard, it goes either completely forward or completely backwards. Wished there were a way to change to power. Any mods available?

I have not had manual seats for I can't remember. But I can tell the seats are not broken, just not use to them and quite honestly hate them. Dealer told me Tacos did not come with power seats. I am retired and spent my whole life laying brick and block. My legs like it when I get out or into the truck when the seat is all the way back. I was thinking maybe if toyatas suv's had power seats, maybe one could buy a motor from parts department or junk yard and adapt that set up to the manual seats.

 

The seating position could be better for a lot of us for sure.
