Have OME Coils/Shocks Changed?

    I have a 2001 Tacoma XCab V6 4x4 with 208,000 miles.

The truck has had OME 881 Coils with N91S Shocks up front since new.

The truck does not have an aftermarket bumper, winch, or any added weight up front.

The lower control arm bushings need to be replaced, and since the front end is coming apart I am leaning toward replacing wear items, and putting in new OME strut assemblies at the same time.

Looks like ARB owns the brand now, their 881 spec sheet shows 2" lift (with a replacement bumper & winch).

Back in 2001 881's gave the truck just under 2" of lift. Have not had any CV joint issues, and have been very happy with the ride. Again I do not have extra weight up front on the truck.

What if anything has changed with ARB owning the brand, and can I expect similar results (lift, performance and quality) 14yrs later?

    Thanks for the help.
