Have there been any actually documented issues caused by SC mods?

I know that any modifications will void your warranty but...
Has anyone actually had problems after mods? I mean just the usual stuff-smaller pulley/upgraded fuel pump , CAI . I've never even heard of anything

No, any modification will NOT void your warranty. Any mod COULD void your warranty and that's a rather large difference. Put simply, the onus is on the manufacturer to prove that your modification caused whatever failure they're trying to deny coverage on. As consumers we're protected against such things and simply modifying your ride doesn't mean that you just voided your warranty. Big distinction difference.

You honestly think that? This was on my shift knob when I picked up my truck from the dealership after the install. CLEARLY says that it nullifies the warranty.
My question is if anyone has heard about the mods actually causing any issues. I have not, but I have only been here half a year

Think? No. I know. There's case law that supports everything I said. They don't get to do whatever they want because they're the big scary corporation.

Don't believe me. Research Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975.

Some stupid letter (even one drafted by a legal team on fancy looking letterhead complete with Roman numerals & #'s) can't overrule federal laws no matter how much manufacturers wish it did. Also, posts like this perpetuate the incorrect assumption that any modification immediately & fully voids your warranty. It's false.

The federal minimum standards for full warranties are waived if the warrantor can show that the problem associated with a warranted consumer product was caused by damage while in the possession of the consumer, or by unreasonable use, including a failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
to me that reads...your truck wouldn't have had these issues if you hadn't changed fuel delivery, intake and made the pulley smaller.

i still have the same question though, has anyone had an supercharger issues?

Only overtightening the hose clamps on the fuel pump line when doing a swap..... This could cause a leak and lead to rough/no start...

    That's it really.....

Other known issues I can recall were due to someone raising rev limiter and regularly taking it to the strip.....key point, rev limit increase.

Another case involved nitrous as well.

No real issues with adding a smaller pulley WITH proper fueling/cooling mods done in conjunction...... No issues with headers..... No issues with intakes cept the newer TRD intake running lean on n/a apps.......any issues with the maf calibrator are tuning errors.

Boost on, use common sense, ask away, and purchase/pay attention to proper gauges
