the front looks like a lambo a little, and the stingray isn't as pronounced as on the older models, it sorta looks like a regular vette with a redesigned hood.

I've never been a huge Corvette fan, but the C7 does look pretty sweet in the red with black wheels combo. Finally it gets a good interior to justify the $100k+ that ZR1's command. Was a little surprised they went with LT1 for the new engines designation. I hear the engine that will go in the ZR1 will resurrect the LT5 designation the ZR1 had in the 90s.

I'm not the hugest fan of the rear though. They keep trying to use the aborted rear end style of the Camaro.

the ZR1 is the 100grand Vette...a C6Z can be bought new for much less.

Nope. As tested in Road and Track. 102k. Granted that was with several options like the ceramic carbon brakes but still, the fact that there is a 100k z06 is putting that car out of reach for those with more meager incomes. The stats are incredible though, even compared to cars costing tens of thousands more.

They may START at 55k, but since there was much discussion about the 100k Zr1, I was meaning that one. I should have been more specific. Still would rather have the Camaro either way.

Any car optioned out gets pricey. Z06 still starts $25k less than that. I'd imagine most who aren't in the market for a $100k car aren't in the market for a $75k car either.

There are plenty of other fun cars out there for those with "meager incomes." While I certainly would never spend that or $120k on a ZR1 the performance specs warrant the cost of admission.

IMO .. Corvette is the "best bang for the buck" car out there. ... :D ... entry level machine for $50K = fantastic ...

911s are nice ... especially if you go for a AWD C4S ... but not sure if I want to pay that 911 C4S price now. ...

Why did my preference for the Camaro make you laugh? I'm honestly curious.

If you shop...you can find a min equipped Coupe for near 40grand new.

and I agree, 100K for a car is serious coins.

    Damn that's ugly.

And just like every other GM inside. Feels like the knobs are gonna break off in your hand.

    Thanks man.

From my experience with GM (which is quite extensive), I have noticed they all really seem to be the same to me. Between a $5000 cobalt or a $70k duramax, the interior is just as cheap. The corvettes are the same(haven't been in a 2014).

It's the same with a low end toyota and a pricey tundra though.

I got ya now. Just remember, not everyone likes the same thing. I don't like the lines or the looks of the Corvette. To be honest I like the looks of the Viper over the Corvette, but I have been a GM man most of my life.

What you consider technology is what I consider more shit to break. I'm not saying it's not a badass driving machine, I'm saying you are overpaying for 12 more horsepower. I'd rock a Z06 though before any other vette, even the ZR1.
