Sounds like a capitalistic venture to me, just like any other business wanting to acquire more money on the international stage. Not doing business in China would be like Capitalism finally getting a soul, but "money hath no soul" .

what's wrong is thinking they've paid up.... they haven't...

 

WE the US tax payers are still on the hook for 33 % of Gm to be paid back when they (GM) want to pay it back..Sweet deal if you can get it.. Go to the gao and tell them you would like to have 5 mil. or so and you will pay them back whenever.

GM should have gone through managed bankruptsy.

Instead...the tax payers bailed them out to save union jobs and garner votes.
