why on earth do you love causing other people to not be able to see at night and creating a safety problem for all drivers around you?

I got flashed 4-5 times last night on a 5 mile stretch of mountain road; I always respond by showing them just how bright the high beams are. It usually makes them flip back to lows very quickly. Next mod... adjust the headlights. (I also had a load in the back though.)

Don't these jackass drivers realize if your fogs are on, the highs beam CANNOT be on? Its a legal requirement in the U.S. that when brights come on, the fogs HAVE to turn off. You think they'd see the fogs on and realize you don't have your brights on...

jackass drivers = not a lot of legal knowledge. you're requiring people to assimilate too much information.

If your getting flashed all the time then you need to aim your damn headlights! Im sick of being blinded by idiots that install HIDs in their rides.

    ADJUSTMENT

If your factory head lights are pointing rather high, you can adjust them. Also, usually after installing an HID kit, you would most likely have to do some aiming, as well.

To adjust the height, use a long philips head screw driver to adjust it. The adjustment knob for the height is the one on the bottom closest to the fender (referring to the driver's side head light). To adjust up, you would turn your screw driver clockwise. To adjust down, turn the screw driver counter-clock wise.

To adjust the headlights from left to right, you would take off the black plastic cover off of the adjustment knob that is placed right in the middle of your headlight. You would adjust it the same way as the height adjustment knob.

    - Billstein 5100's all around with OME 885 coil springs. - K&N Air Filter - HID Headlights & Fogs - Kenwood Stereo & Infinity Speakers - CB Radio, - Fog On Anytime mod - Anti Tailgate theft mod. More comming...
I have 8k HID lights on both my headlights and fogs. I get flashed every once in a while but I usually blind their asses by flashing my high beams at them. I understand that it ain't cool and it's a safety hazard. I do it just to let them know I DO NOT have my high beams on.

Once, I was going down to baja for a race and I passed a ford ranger. Well the ranger speeds up and gets just ahead of me and some guy in the rear seat shines a SUPER powerful flashlight right through my windshield at me. It was one of those like 10in wide flood lights. Well I get behind him and turned on my fogs and put my high beams on. After I did that (I could see I was really blinding them) they turned off that light. Not safe I know but what does he want me to do? (no i'm not getting halogen bulbs).

As a great mentor of mine used to say, "What is it about you, that allows you to get upset with this?" On that note - look down and over.

On the other side, he would say, "Do you truly know the wake that you create?" - On the other hand keep yours down.

    'jus sayin'

I agree 100%. In fact I think HIDs should be banned. Its a safety hazzard when they are aimed wrong.
Also, why the hell do people drive with fog lights on in clear weather? I find that very blinding as well.

Hid's banned? I don't think so... far safer you just have to make sure you are aimed right.

Plus, I don't have kerosene to go back to the ol days.
