I had a truck stolen once in Las Vegas where I lived at the time. The police recovered it in 2 weeks and I found a laptop and a 35-millimeter camera in a bag. The laptop had video of the guys stealing all kinds of stuff. When I called the police about this so-called evidence they said unless there is a witness they won't even bother investigating. Here they had identities and pictures it still wouldn't investigate. So I kept the laptop in the camera which paid for my drilled out lock.

Well, if you have an illegal suppressor, you probably shouldn't advertise it with a sticker. Just sayin...

I always carry a cancelled tax stamp in my wallet that was kindly provided by the Feds at the cost of $200. And I wouldn’t live in any state that prevents you from defending yourself and your loved ones from deadly force.

You see all kinds of crazy stickers here most are the family stick figure types with ARs, AKs, and handguns. Local Sheriff tells me those vehicles are much less affected by smash & grabs, go figure.

I'd have guessed that those type of stickers would draw thieves rather than repel them. But who knows?

Your taking it too seriously. They don’t give tickets for car stickers in CA and there are no laws against self defense. I know plenty of people with concealed carry permits. On the other hand, there are some laws about automatic weapons and gun registration. Not a problem if you aren’t a felon. I do understand that many people don’t want to live here, but the ability to own guns usually isn’t the reason.

Suppressors are legal in my state  just gotta clear the extensive background check. Actually, it seems that they are legal in 42 of the 50 states.

Glad to know that. I just assumed everything here was completely unregulated for the most part.

Yeah, but they were dissing CA, where suppressors are not legal. Stickers are legal, though. I was just pointing out, you won't get busted for the sticker, but (joking) it might give probable cause to search for the suppressor. I really don't have a dog in this hunt. I own a gun, but have never considered buying a suppressor.

Making your own suppressor is more satisfying.

Yes, it IS legal to make your own IF you go through the tax stamp hurdles, and you live in a free state. :crapstorm:

Yeah. I don’t own one (yet) either. But I’d love to get one just so I don’t need hearing protection while shooting. That’d be Sooooo nice lol.

Actually- an industry that targets adult Smokers (you have to be 18). But “kids” will get their hands on anything regardless of legality. Im guessing you also think vaping is more harmful than cigarettes… because that’s what your told. You would benefit from some research and actual facts. Pm me I’ll gladly share!

I do agree that there has been questionable advertising- there is a rotten apple in every bunch but again… An industry that targets smokers (as a scientifically proven 95% safer alternative to a cigarette!)
