With extra motivation due to purchase of new tires, I have been doing a bunch of beginner maintenance items with the help of the great information here. Just finished front & rear differential + transfer case change. Also greased the driveshaft. Next up is cleaning throttle body and MAF. Buying tools and spending a lot of time on Amazon and at Harbor Freight. Looking forward to my first ever DIY spark plug change in 8,000 miles. I had been previously using local service shops for everything except oil changes.

Thanks for the encouragement! Learning is definitely fun for me.
I am near Austin. With the recent cooler weather, working on the truck is more enjoyable. I had to replace the battery in August when it was 102 degrees :-o

If your doing your own oil change now invest in the fumoto valve, it makes it so easy
