Having difficulty hanging the rear window to the Aluminum frame on my fiberglass cap .

There is a channel on an Aluminum extrusion on the window frame, that mates with a channel in an Aluminum extrusion on the window jamb on the cap; to form a continuous hinge.

I've tried sliding the two together and latching and lowering the window together without success.

What am I doing wrong ?

How do I get it right ?
