The best thing to do is ignore her completely. Go take up a new hobby, kayaking, photography, mtn biking, or whatever, that could help just by getting her off your mind. Go catch up with some old friends or something. I wouldn't do anything too crazy tho(like hooking up with random chicks or whatever). Thats my two cents man.

Nice guys have a bad time because you guys make it so easy for a girl to walk all over you. Once that opportunity presents itself theres no turning back.

for now, stay busy with friends and what ever you can to keep your mind off of her. right now you're in that stage where you agonize over everything about your time together and you feel miserable. next stage is where you will go a few days without even thinking of her at all and then you feel horrible about that. then you realize that you're over her and ready to move on. just give it time.

Yo doggie im right there with u... one of my ex's brokup with me about 6 months ago and i miss her to death. she was the best thing that ever happened to me. Although to be honest i blew it. i cheated. the one time i cheated in my entire life was on her. and i will never do it again because ive seen how much it hurts the one you care about most. i didnt wait for rumors to get around... i told her. i honestly think it hurt me more to know it was my fault she was hurt like that, than it hurt her. but i miss her more than anything... although i do still think about her every day... the time apart from eachother still helped tho. just take your time and youll move on when youre ready my friend.

I know posting this sounds like I am not over her... I am almost over her... After we broke up she didn't change in a way of making her unattractive. My other ex gf after she broke up with me she changed into a different person immediately. She became really unattractive because she was making stupid choices in life.

Well the one thing you can tell from this thread is that it's happened to EVERYONE. Hell I'm going through it right now, girl crushed me about a month ago now. I was always the one doing the heartbreaking; it's different when you really care about someone. She wants to go party and be immature, whatever that's her choice. The point is, you're doing the right thing, cut off all ties. Reorganize you're place, take down the pictures, block her on facebook, learn who you are again. It's going to take some time, eventually you'll be able to live with it. I think that you're pretty much where I am right now. You don't miss her, you miss the thought of her. It sucks, but thats life. Go have a good time with the boys, it'll take your mind of things. Another one will come around, don't worry about that.

Give it time... haha just kidding.

When you find yourself thinking about her and missing her, just think about a time that she did something you didn't like, or a time she was being a bitch.

^ that is the wrong way of looking at things. I don't need another girlt to replace her. I need to enjoy life being single before I find another girl.

I try doing that, but I had more good memories with her than bad memories. We had a good time and hardly fought with each other.

Just like everyone else here, I have been through that. It sucks big time but you just gotta keep yourself occupied. Go out and do stuff you wouldn't normally do. Time is key when it comes to this kind of thing. Just keep telling yourself "everything happens for a reason"..... this i was meant to happen. the sooner that is excepted, the easier the healing will be.

    take it easy man.
