This is what I went with, and I love it.
Search on ebay for seller "performance-curve" in Roanoke, VA.
They sell catback 2.5" piping set pre-bent for tacomas. Bought a 2.5 in/out Borla ProXS muffler. To me it was still a little too loud, so went back to the same ebay seller and got a straight-thru 2.5" muffler/resonator and welded it all together. Cut the tailpipe right after the axle. Sounds great. Spent about $300 total on it. (Welded it myself)

ps....I'm also running the URD y-pipe tho.

Not the case. We’re legit at the very opposite ends of the country lol. Shipping probably would be steep.

Mad respect for the effort you put into your set up, but there more work and running around than I’m willing to do fam... bolt on is about as far as I’m willing to go lol.

Similar experience with my MBRP 3". Loved the sound and actually got used to the drone, but this engine needs a little more back-pressure than a 3" diameter exhaust. Went back to stock with the OVTune catless dump tubes and it's perfect. Will probably get a TRD exhaust in the near future. I miss the sound.

For what it’s worth, my truck has 2,700 miles on it. I like the somewhat modest sound of the trd exhaust, but I’m not thrilled with the quality of the tip. The exhaust is stainless but idk what the tip is, as it is already starting to rust. The truck is garage kept too. Anyone else have this issue? I’m sure it could be cleaned up, but it should be higher quality for the price.

How do you like the catless dump tubes? How's the sound? Any power difference?

Love the tubes, the sound is only noticeable on acceleration, not that loud at all. Any power difference isn't too noticeable, meaning I can't determine if it's the tune or the tubes. I would assume both. It's been so long since I've driven the stock tune. I'm a dongle guy so it's been a while.
