Having trouble ordering a 2019 TRD Pro with MT.

I agree with @St.Germain here.....@SCJeffro you didn't actually order one, you got lucky and caught one on allocation. Just want to keep it straight for all the new guys

Yep. He has great stuff. I have used him on three cars/trucks so far. Great guy on the phone and well worth the $$

 

You need to Fly and Drive...............find one and go get it, enjoy the ride home in your new truck!

I believe the TRD PRO is allocated to dealerships based on their total sales of vehicles. Basically hi volume dealerships will receive more PRO’s than less performing dealerships.

 

Don’t settle. I flew in and drove 20 hrs back. Worth it to me to get what I wanted. Cheaper too even with cost of plane tickets for two and gasoline.

 

yes but there is more to it than that. for example, regional distribution has seen dealer X show a huge rise in sales of fwd hybrids. next distribution cycle guess who gets more.

another example, dealer X was floundering for the last 3 months with poor mgmt. then that dealer went under and was bought out by new ownership with a proven track record for sales. so Corporate chooses to invest in the new owner to build them up, and they get all the Pros this month.

All vehicles are allocated to the Yota dealership, sometimes they are able to trade for your vehicle with another dealerships allocations that’s about the best the dealership can do towards ordering.

 

that actually worked for me. my situation was a little weird but this was part of it. the other part is that the salesmen knew each other and did this on occasion. one of the reasons i say build a relationship.

I got my exact truck I built on Toyota’s website, took to two dealerships, put deposit down and both said when they get that build or trade with another dealership they would let me know.

 

Tuscaloosa Toyota has a white one on there web site listed as AT its MT . Its about 600 miles from you. Around 45000 on the sticker. Interior picture.

 

That was my order confirmation sheet from the dealer, I got it once my order was accepted... not what I printed from the internet.

That piece of paper was printed from Toyota by the dealer with my name on the order for the truck I spec'd

I was really happy with my experience at Del Toyota (3 hour drive from me) in Thorndale PA. Negotiated everything over email and no surprises when I arrived to pick up my truck. They have a 19 MT PRO in stock. Not sure if they are marking it up though.

Just sent you a private message. I got a new job and am getting a company vehicle. Can't keep the truck, my FR-S and another vehicle, so I'm selling a 2018 TRD Pro with 5,700 miles. It has a manual transmission and is cavalry blue. I'm between Milwaukee and Chicago.

I feel your pain on the search. I had to fly to pick this one up in April. I'm not happy about selling it, but I don't want to get rid of my Scion... It's my cheap toy lol.

 

Yep, I completely understand that. Once your dealership got the allocation for the truck you were looking for, it was assigned a fake vin, until the real one was assigned, then when Yota factory was building trucks like yours, size and transmission and color, one was assigned to your allocation. Sent to port where your extras are put on. The sent to your dealership, where your sales guys calls and tells you your order is there.
