    Personally, i like trucks. 4 runner is pretty comfortable to ride, but just not my style.
    I was thing about the 18 tacoma as well, some people said they are in production now and will come out around Nov. Hopefully when 18 comes out, the price of 17 can drop a little bit.
    the price difference between 4x4 and 4x2 is about 3K, even though i dont' really need a 4x4 on island, but they have better resale values and i might need it if i go back to mainland.

    I'd just get the 2018 taco when it comes out.
    the 4R is nice but i use the truck a lot more.

    That's what I was thinking. I really want the oem tonneau cover and leather. Those were my two things that's a must have. I don't want to go aftermarket. I have less time now days to mod or even want to mod. Getting old lol

    legal front window tint, not so on the rears..
    Don't get the oem tonneau cover.Mines are falling apart.(a piece cracked off at the first fold now leak even more),it leaked from day 1,a POS for like 695.00.

    Good to know. I liked the oem just because you would need to unlock/open the tailgate in order to be able to open the tonneau. Would like to leave stuff in the bed and not worry about people being able to just lift up the tonneau cover and see what you got inside.
