I did stuff some foam pieces under my fender flares to bulge the top of it out so it covered more. I rolled straight to safety check to get my sticker after that too. There was also a rediculously giant ford behind me that failed, he made my truck look very legal next to his.

If you look from the top, my tread doesn't stick out that far at all. Optical illusion. lol

    16x7.5

I think they are about 4.7" backspacing.

How much did you have to cut? I did't think we could stuff 35"s with only a 2.5" lift. Looks pretty damn cool. I like the profile of your truck.

Theres some pics in my build of the fender cut. They were trimmed about 2". Pinch welds flattened. Cab mount was cut and is good for now but I need to go flex everything out and see where I need to clearance. So far so good. Fender liners are non-existent.

This is a great shot. Those 315 looks large. Just gotta flex um now. I wonder if you'll rub the fenders when stuffed?20151002_122711.jpg

I think only the front will rub. I want to flex it out and exacly where I have to clearance. I also have a small bump stop extension for the front, if the tire contacts the top of the fender too much. I'm planning of clearancing everything for zero rubbing but I want to see what exact spots, so I don't go beating on stuff that doesn't need a beating.

Sounds like fun but I might just pull my coilovers out and cycle the front in my garage. Drive to your spot after the clearancing. I'm busy these next two weekends so will have to be after that.

So I just got here a few months ago and im trying to get my recon done, and the more and more i read about it, the more and more I get worried about it.
Is it true i need back mud flaps, because I have none. How far can the tire stick out past the fender, and how the fuck do people get around a recon, theres a way and i probably need to find out because i dont think my truck will pass with the way my fiberglass fenders are and my tires.

@StarTrooper , you need rear mudflaps to pass recon. The main tread of your tire can't stick out past your flares. The sidewall can. There was a way around recon 15 years ago but times have changed.

They pass by putting different rims and tires to pass recon, then switch to the regular rims and tires. But dont do that. Take the time to do it correctly. It's easier in the long run cause the Yearly Safety Check is tied into it too.

Is there a law stating you can or can't have windshield stickers at the top.

    And another thing
Is there a place to look at all the traffic laws and shit in one place, in having no luck.

Look on the windshield for the "AS1" line. That's the line that anything can go above and nothing below. You also can't hang anything thing from the rearview mirror.
