front windows are still going be measured at inspection stations rear windows can be as dark as you want. also whatever you listed on the paper such as tire size is what the inspector is going look for when you get a safety.

everything is at home ready for as soon as i get my stickers updated. ^^^ the beauty of having more than one set of tires. going back and forth between the two is as simple as jack stands and impact gun and about 15 minutes

they said that same shit about kauai.... still never made it. People on kauai (at least for now) still realize how effing stupid it is and shoot it down every year they try to bring it. Its supposedly a Hawaii state law required for islands with over 600,000 or more people i think. kauai only get maybe 100,000 give or take depending on tourism. It may be a bigger number or something around that number, thats just what the guy at recon explained to me when i was there.

all u gotta know is... if u can fight it.... FIGHT IT. F#$% recon!

i have recon on my mustang and the tire size listed on my paperwork is different than what i run. I get my inspections with the bigger wheels (not listed on my recon paperwork). never had an issue. I was always under the impression that as long as the wheels are "legal" they cant mess with you. I even pass inspection with tinted taillights..

Theres a few threads on HiDs, projectors or not. Heres one for example: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/lighting/191480-hid-faq.html

I do believe they look under the hood to check if the battery is securely mounted.

    Hope this helps!

only need to have half of your tires covered by mudflaps *(height wise) so if ur dropped... probaly not. and you do need the full width of the tire covered. thats why they are so anal about finders

Alohas my braddas, I just did an alignment and everything was within the tacoma's specs except for Steering Axis Inclination (SAI) and Included Angle. They were about 1.5 degrees less than the minimum specified range. I heard SAI was unadjustable and they use these numbers to diagnose bent or bad suspension. My suspension is in great condition, zero accidents, hardly off road.

Anyone had this problem on their taco? You guys know of any good alignment shop for lifted trucks that would fudge, i mean, fix this ;P and print my alignment papers for recon?

Another question, I've also heard from one of my friends that you can't stack lifts. For example, putting a 2" spacer with a 6" Fabtech. Do any of you know if this is true? Thx in advance

True and false... you definitely cant put a 2 inch spacer with a 6 inch fab. Your UCA's will knock on ur coilovers (unless they are super skinny c/o's). i would know kuz i had a 1 inch spacer on my 6 inch pro comp and i was tapping the c/o's. So i ripped off the spacers and just cranked the c/o's to the max. Only way to be able to add the spacer is if you also got a long travel kit (long travel uca's lca's, etc.)

Rajah. I actually just have a 1" Daystar Polyurethane Spacer. So they won't even pass that?! That blows man. I need to see their definition of "no stacking" lifts because putting lift blocks and add-a-leafs in the rear seems like stacking to me which is what some lift kits already offer.

I have my Recon appointment set up for next month and was wondering if anyone had done it after doing a cab mount chop. I had a piece welded over but I don't know of they require any special paperwork for it. Any feedback would be appreciated.
