The long grade 8 holds the u shape brackets to your cross member mounts; there is an unused hole through them that the bolt slips right through. The side of the u bracket with the slight angle on it faces in toward the transmission, and the nut welded to the top of those brackets then tucks right into the large hole on the underside.
All the included square washers go on the inside of the frame since some of the mounting holes are larger than standard holes.
The long extension bars with the nuts on the ends are used to reach inside the forward boxed section of the trucks frame to secure the 2 bolts on the front mount of the sliders.
Let me know if you need more instruction than that about those brackets.

 

Gotcha. I'll try and photo document the install if I can figure it out. I think pics make all the difference in this situation.

 

that would be great Dave. I agree. Some parts may look a little confusing sitting on the ground next to the truck, but once held up to it should be pretty straight forward.

 

Eric, any input on that cross member bolt that seems to be too short now?

 

There is no factory bolts used to secure the sliders, aside from the one on the bottom of the frame rail, but that bolt shouldnt be too short.

 

Ok....that's the one thats too short. Perhaps the bedliner caused the issue. Regardless I bought new bolts today. Thanks bro.

awaiting on mines to arrive. But Eric should I be tell them special instructions when I get them bedlined....since my set are weld ons?

Just have them leave an inch or 2 bare at the end of each leg so the frame plates can be welded on, then the sliders welded to the truck. Otherwise it will need to be scraped off to allow them to be welded together.

 

Better to tell them 3-4" bare and don't shoot the bedliner inside of the tubing. The heat from the welds Plan B is doing will melt the liner up to about 3-4" away from the frame.
