The current Haynes manual for the Tacoma is for the years 2005-2009. I know there have been some modifications with each model year but my 2011 is still a second generation Tacoma like the 2009. If I used the 2009 manual as a guide with my truck, am I going to hopelessly destroy it? I'm not going to be rebuilding an engine or even changing brake pads. I'm more interested in being able to put a label on the parts of the truck that I'm looking at and to have a clue what the service people are talking about.

Slight variations, but it will serve you well. Still a second gen.
