    Wow, are those 33" for real? They seem so much bigger. The original ones are 31" right? (265/65-17 is 30.5" diameter). It seems to be (to me at least) a BIG difference for 'only' ~2" actual difference.

    edit: I used the calculator to get an idea of the original diameter. I don't understand why it seems that big

    Did you take the wheels off or just tape them? And did you do any sanding or straight paint off. How many cans did you use anyway?

    The way I did it was...

    1.took the wheels off.
    2.cleaned with hot water n soap.
    3.sanded with a fine grit (2k grit or 220/400 cant remember)
    4.then i wet sanded.
    5.dried the wheels, then hit it with a tack cloth.
    6.i used index cards as a guide to prevent the paint from hitting the tires.
    7.sprayed light coats of primer (1 can for all four wheels with 2 coats)
    8.then i used about 2-3 cans of the ultra flat black for all the wheels. i think i did about 4 coats on each wheel.

    in between each coat i used a hairdryer to speed up the drying process lol. u can just wait a couple minutes in between coats.
