Having a bit of trouble and Ramadashitmypants from East India doesn't know what I am talking about.:annoyed:
I have tried connecting it via HDMI to my flat screen. I get a clear picture but no sound. I tried different HDMI cables and plugged each in to different HDMI slots on the tv. I am, however, able to connect the PCI cable to both laptop and tv and run an AUX cord to the tv and get sound. I tried downloading the driver for the HDMI slot but to no avail.

Any suggestions? It worked a few times for me in the past with sounds and picture... not sure what went wrong.

    neglect, mostly.
windows button, search "sound". hit the "sound" icon near the top. you can set it in there. . . so then you just set it to make sure the audio goes with the picture through the cable.
