I just completed a head gasket job on my 98 Toyota Tacoma 3.4 l 5vz-fe ...... and when i started the truck it was starving for fuel . I was able to start it finally with some starting fluid.. Heavy raw gas smell coming from engine also and I noticed white smoke coming out of the tailpipe and I'm losing coolant. After I filled the radiator again I noticed that it was leaking coolant from underneath the throttle body

You would probably get more/better advice by posting in the 1st gen forums (95-04 model trucks) but it sounds like your truck is either severely overfueling for some reason or your still getting coolant in the cylinders.

Are you sure you got the coolant lines back on in the correct place on the Throttle Body?
I believe there are 2 fittings for the coolant line and 1 for a vacuum. It’s been awhile since I messed with a 3.4.

But I think I remember those lines when I ran a spacer on my TB.

Those little coolant lines going to the throttle body are small and easily tear. Check the clamps and make sure they're ok

I hope you inspected the cylinder heads after they were removed. The 5vz heads like to crack--usually it is one of the middle cylinders.
