Hehe, you're welcome to come and have my beer anytime Eden as long as your boy friend don't mind . There's always room for a pretty face to brighten while we work and chat up :). Plus you could learn a thing or two. Did you get your Tacoma back? I've seen your threads of your recent problems with your truck... I hope you got everything sorted out with them.

BF doesn't mind as I let him do his thing and spend time with his massive beast of his truck.
Is the headlights bod similar to blacken the lights?

Yes, it is to make the inside of the lights black like the new 2017 models and also add a Halo ring around the project lights like how @Brick_26 has done to his truck. I could do it all myself, just could use a bit help. It includes buying some parts if you want the halo ring, otherwise it'd be just paint the inside black to match 2017 headlights :

SD as in San Diego? I'm up at Edwards AFB (In the dusty AV), so if you ever have a big project to take on let me know and maybe I could figure a time. I'm gonna be TDY to Mississippi starting Sunday for the rest of the month, but after that hollar at me. I'm always down to help someone and the wife and I haven't been down to San Diego yet.

Yep, San Diego. Bro, I would totally drive up to you any day, I am dying to make a good friend. This is awesome news :). I will hit you up after you are back from your temp duty closer to end of September. Thanks so much. I got the KFC and beer. And seriously, even if its not for truck work, you guys should come on by San Diego sometime, and see our city, enjoy the beach, La Jolla and Balboa park. You certainly don't want to miss all that.

Haha right on man. We won't miss out on much, we have 4 years to explore, but this is far different than my last assignment. I work a lot more, and the area likes to randomly catch on fire.

If I'm ever in the area I'll let ya know. I need to go down to talk to DirtKing fab at some point anyway, so it'd be a sweet meet up to go look at some LT trucks and awesome fabrication. Can't promise I'll be in the truck since the wifes ecofusion gets 36 mpg, but if I'm there to see DK I'll be in the taco.

Cool, no worries. Our trucks could give 30 if we go easy on the throttle on the highways ;). Many here do. I'd be totally happy to meet up with you anytime, even if you are here just to visit, go with you to the KD fab place. I'm flexible with my work. I love all the work you've done to your truck by the way, you spared no expense. I need to find a wife like that ;). We can exchange numbers later.

I'm here in SD and am always messing with my truck for some reason or another. If you want to get some stuff done let me know.

Hey Chris, Shoot, I missed this message in time. I did apply some 3M film on the edges of my doors and applied to my tail gate over the weekend that I had bought earlier, man it took forever to apply them all 5+ hours. I'd love to catch up, lets shoot for next weekend, and play it by ear. I also plan to drive up and go see @Brick_26 early October/end of September depending on whenever he's free and available. I've placed an order for some Angel eyes to do a headlight mod like his. I love his truck, very bright and bold. Mine is very inconspicuous. I could do the mod alone, but I'd rather do it with him for confidence and tips he learned along the way, might be quicker too. I want to dip my wheels next and paint my calipers red, I just need to find some other wheels to keep my four corners up while the wheels are done. I' plan to keep my sport wheels until I could pay off the truck. Trying to be financially responsible and all. Thanks so much for the invite. Do you have any mods planned? I've got a switch plate and 3 switches for the coin cubby to install, and also want to drop the head liner to route a wire to the back of the cab.

I have a few mods that I need to get done. Finish my sound deadning on floor and lid of the truck. Install a receptacle inside the truck on the back of console. Just did my upper control arms last weekend. Need to build a couple brackets for my awning. Oh damn, I have a ton of stuff to do. Message me and I'll shoot you my number. As you can tell I don't get on tw all that much.
