    I've also considered buying a '12+ head unit but have never actually researched it enough to see if it's compatible. i would be interested to hear if someone has looked into this or has done it and what the results were

    I have installed the unit, it works but not a perfect fit its out about 1/8 of a inch. on the top. Also when I turn my head lights on there is no lights on on unit. Anyone know why this is happening?
