head unit install questions

    2013 access cab sr5 4x4
    i have a 2013 tacoma access cab 4x4 sr5 non entune. im installing a pioneer avic x940bt w/navigation. im using the 2013 american international dash kit.

    i have a few questions about installation.

    is there a video or a write up on intallation of the axxess swc-1?

    where should i mount the gps module coming out of the head unit?

    where should i run the usb cable to hook up my ipod?

    what speakers do i have in the rear? where are they located?

    Satoshi with FJ badge, factory cruise, factory intermittent wipers, Redline Tuning hood-lift struts, Hellwig Swaybar, Rosen DVD-Nav
    I tucked my XM receiver between the airbox and the duct heading to the floor. You can see the space behind the glove box to the left of the cabin filter... might be room for the GPS module there.
    I put the antenna on top of the dash vent ducts for both GPS and XM.

    GPS antenna over radio, under dash. Does not need to be on top of dash, just not under metal.

    Yup.
    Stuck the supplied metal plate on top of the air duct and stuck the antenna to it.
    Only got one plate between the two units, so I grabbed a fender washer and stuck that to the duct with 3M tape for the XM antenna.
