I'm in the process of upgrading my stereo and was wondering what head units / subs people are using.

I have an '04 Double cab.

    The plan is to get:

    Polk DB 5x7 components (front)
    Polk DB 5x7 (rear)
    Rockford Punch 400@400 (front)

I don't know what head unit to get. I want to stick within $200-400 range. I want to be able to run a USB or iPod on it. I don't care if the iPod hangs out in the cab as I can sort for music faster through the iPod then I can through the head unit (unless I am mistaken). Personally, I don't like iPods but damnit they work and I need a new mp3 player.

I am also going to add sub/amp combo - it will probably be a single 10" Rockford with a Rockford amp. I don't need a fucking monster or anything.

    I listen to:

    - Punk
    - Metal
    - Punk
    - Metal
    - Punk
    - Metal
    - The occasional Atmosphere or Sage Francis

I've got a 12" Pioneer and a 1000W amp in my basement that won't fit in my truck if you're interested...
