Hi. I have a 2019 Extended Cab, Auto, I4, OEM Base Radio. I would like to improve the power and quality of sound in the truck. I am not looking to play music real loud. I am thinking 22 RMS should do the trick. I dont plan on using a stand alone Sub. I will be changing the speakers. I am looking for some suggestions for a head unit to buy. ( should I just buy a used OEM better Tacoma Head Unit ? )
Things that are important to me:
    - Keep Steering Wheel Controls.
    - About 22 RMS
    - Backup Camera ready.
    - Price Limit about $325
Thank you for your time and help.

As far as power goes, there’s no “better OEM radio”

a lot of misinformation around here about that. The only thing that changes are the screen and features.

if you want to keep your steering wheel controls, you’re spending $100 on just the wiring harness. And additional on the camera retention harness. Another $20 on the mounting brackets.

All touch-screens will be backup ready.

kenwood, pioneer, and alpine all have decent radios for $299

Pioneer, Kenwood and Alpine. Make sure it has Apple Carplay or Android Auto. Read up on Crutchfield and get back to us. They have really great customer service for questions as well.
