    It is a Midland MXT115 and the microphone plugs in to the front of the radio. No programming required unless you want to use privacy codes or GMRS repeaters. It’s incredibly easy to use and no antenna tuning required. Look ‘em up on YouTube

    I'd definitely go GMRS or ham. I can't remember the last time I touched my CB. I don't even carry the antenna for it anymore. I found that when I used it, other people never calibrated their antennas, so the quality was horrible. I might take it out and replace it with that mini Midland GMRS. I have a cheap mini cobra mounted in the ashtray area.

    It’s mounted there with the supplied bracket. The bracket is screwed into the plastic housing and the radio slides and clicks into place
