I posted this on the TW facebook page, but I thought I'd post a few more pictures of the build here. I can't take credit for all of the welds, my friend did most of the welding for me :D

    Getting the mounting plates water-jetted:

Grating, mounting plates, and one of the diagonal bracing:

    Test fits:

    Fab work done:

    Back from the powder-coaters:

Now I gotta lift it and get some bigger shoes so the rest of the truck can match the beefy rack haha

Wow, that thing looks awesome. I have been meaning to build one myself forever, basically the same design just not as fancy. That thing looks clean and functional though.

That's a good looking rack! What gauge and size is the expanded metal mesh? I am thinking about making somthing very close to what you have. Very good looking.

Thank you. It's 3/4" expanded, not sure about the gauge

Thank you. I have led strips under the bed rails which are bright enough for now, but i'm thinking of adding some small led spotlights later on. I'd like to find a way to add them without welding anything on and ruining the powder coating, but we'll see. I haven't put that much thought into it yet

Nice rack ;) Def need to see more of these on taco's. You have some welding skills that far surpass my own, that thing is legit
