I have a 96 Tacoma. I haul a lot of wood in the summer and would like to find a headache rack that fits. Any help finding one would be great.
    Thanks,
    Tim

Know anyone that can weld ??

    Simple to make one .

Having never looked for one Maybe Back Rack makes one on there models that fit

That is why I made mine after bouncing firewood off a few times before it broke 001.jpg

How can you see out the back? lol.

Yeah, I say buy some square tube and angle and make one. If you cant weld then you should be able to find someone to make you a simple one cheap.

Why would I need to see out the back??

Most times Machines prevent me to see out that way

That is what my side mirrors are for that is all I use on any vehicle

Its nice to be able to see out when running empty, or backing out of a crowed parking lot or whatever. True its not really necessary, but its handy sometimes.

I would want some sort of see through mesh, but thats just me. Rearview mirror is handy when driving.

I made one (without mesh) out of 2x3 tube, was easy but you need a welder and chop saw. Love it, made a second one that is removable for the back that lets me move long pipe and lumber when I need to.

I have had a Spyder Industries headache rack for 4 years now and it has been great. 20180810_175053.jpg

With my low profile bed rack and tent I haven't been able to use my rear view mirror in over a year...you get used to it.

Although I broke one of my side mirrors recently too and that made it pretty damn hard

    Must not run over kitty...

I don't have any "new" vehicles... that Mini is a 2005... I rented a new vehicle for a trip
recently, it had one of those backup cameras I've always foo-fooed... wow... it was
pretty awesome... you'd have to be a moron (or texting or something) to run over
something backing out of the driveway with one of those things!

I find myself using the headache rack much more than I thought I would. The toolbox makes for a perfect platform to put boxes when the bed is full and the headache rack makes for a great spot to tie them to.
