Yeah page 2 shows what it's like. It's going to be tough. But honestly, if we can get all those fj's through and with how much more difficult slick rock has become we should be fine. Going to test the sliders and armor but we'll be good with this group lol. I'm excited I'm counting down
No problem here that'd up the them. Gonna be a long convoy to the trailhead but yeah if they want to tag along they're more than welcome

Shit, I wish I would have seen this post a couple weeks ago. I doubt I'll be able to get the time off. I'm about 5 hours away. :( Looks awesome!

I would like to say I'm a maybe on this, thanks to BMASE11 as he posted something about this run on TTORA, and a trip we were working on fell apart.

Nice! Good to see some interest on this one. It should be a fun trip.

Last time we managed to get the fj's through with no major issues. However, just keep in mind this trail is one of the tougher ones we've run. Its rated harder than slick rock and deer valley so the 2nd gens "will" be testing their sliders/underarmor, especially at the 1st obstacle in the video.

My buddy from Slick Rock who came by in the SAS explorer may come run it and I'll ride with him. Otherwise I plan on riding shotgun with @bjmoose. I'll be bringing my camera either way!!

Nice! That'd be sweet - I'm excited for this run, I just hope this weather holds up

You should be fine with 4x4 on it. Quite a bit of clearance - but that's a looong drive from Santa Barbara lol

Usually 2-3 days. Couple trips a year are longer but not that often. Just gotta keep an eye out.
    Will do !

How far is it approximately from the highway to the trailhead?
