We left out a couple pans of water and they froze about 1/2" thick overnight.

I wish we got more pictures of us coming up all those stairs. That was the most intense part imo. Unfortunately I was too busy handling my hangover instead of taking pictures lol. Bouncing up that whole mountain side was not what the Dr ordered that morning

Sorry for taking so long to get pictures up, but here is most of what I got. I have a couple videos coming as well. It was a fun trip, definitely pushed everyone to the limits and would be worth another trip next season. For now, lets reminisce:

I remember the entrance being pretty unimpressive, but its even worse now that the area burned down.DSC_0638.jpg
    DSC_0639.jpg

Luckily the trail was protected and turns green fairly quickly into the run
    20151108_132750.jpg

After about 2 miles of driving off camber on the side of a cliff, we finally reached the first obstacle: the infamous tree we've all been worried about. Honestly, its only the start to a ridiculous boulder field, and probably the easiest spot. The picture below is right after the tree:

    20151108_115937.jpg

No turning back now - into the garden:

    DSC_0648.jpg DSC_0652.jpg DSC_0674.jpg

The name of the game for Carson was trying to save his fenders lol:
    DSC_0691.jpg

    Oops, too close

How about that long travel/spring under flex though??
    DSC_0700.jpg DSC_0702.jpg DSC_0711.jpg

Don't worry Steve, I got a video instead of pictures for you
    DSC_0717.jpg DSC_0722.jpg

After the rock garden there are only a couple minor spots until the long decent down the stairs to the lake. It looks like Steve is coming downhill, but this was actually coming up a muddy section, this spot made us all slip a bit:
    DSC_0725.jpg DSC_0731.jpg

    Saving Carson's fenders again:
    DSC_0728.jpg DSC_0730.jpg

Really thought this was a booby trap. The way it was set up was very odd
    DSC_0732.jpg

After winding through the forest you finally pop out at the top of the mountain with a great view of Hell Hole "Creek"
    DSC_0739.jpg

Really dried up, amazing how low it is
    DSC_0743.jpg

Going down the stairs weren't too bad, coming up? Different story entirely. I'm really disappointed I didn't get more pictures of this section because it was one of the toughest parts of the trail, especially coming up.

    DSC_0752.jpg DSC_0755.jpg DSC_0758.jpg DSC_0759.jpg DSC_0762.jpg DSC_0766.jpg DSC_0769.jpg

There was a series of 2 or 3 ledges down this climb that made things interesting. But after a few hours we finally made it to the "lake" :

    DSC_0771.jpg DSC_0772.jpg DSC_0775.jpg DSC_0778.jpg

    Try and spot Steve:
    DSC_0780.jpg

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a lot of shots on the way out. The only section I got was the boulder field and those are all videos. I'll work on getting those up asap. Thanks for the great trip everyone!

Nice photos, really tells how difficult the trail is. Did you use your cell-phone camera, or a non-phone digital camera .

WOW! It's sad to see upper HellHole that dry it was completely full when we ran it so full we couldn't even camp at water level.

At least people know that when they pop a squat that whoever's drinking the water from these reservoirs is drinking eau de tacomaworld.

Well, not to :deadhorse: and bring back this dead thread but I finally got around to the video. At first I was just going to throw them up here raw, but then I decided to at least put them together. Then I wanted to take out some parts, then I wanted to.... Anyways.

    Couple disclaimers:
    1) First video ever put together so be gentle
    2) The video quality is shit. I thought I had more film than I did, I missed most of the trail :( And the video I do have was mostly shot on a cell phone and it shakes like I have cerebral palsy. Seriously tho it gets pretty rough in a couple spots so I apologize in advance.
    3) The 2nd half gets better. Notice how calmly we roll in and then smash the skinny pedal on the way out lol.

Check it out, let me know what you think:
