I want to attach a fuse tap in the engine bay fuse box for 2 small (1.9A each) light bars to come on and stay on w/headlamps. I see there is a fuse for high beams (H-LP-RH/LH-HI) and a fuse for lows (H-LP-RH/LH-LO).

I think I should tap into the low beam fuse...

My question is, do the low beams turn off or stay on when I switch to high beams?

If so, I may have to use the FOG fuse but I'm afraid of adding 3.8A to the circuit. The headlamp way allows me to split the added amps between circuits. Thanks!

They don't turn off, but is an easy verification. Remove the High fuse to side you want to check, turn headlamps to low then high...
