Recently had a lift installed and need to lower my lights. I have searched on the forum and found the "wheel" that everyone references to lower the beam, but I can just keep spinning this wheel with a socket and nothing happens. I even tried it the opposite direction and no luck. I had a set of lights retrofitted and they were perfect when I did not have a lift, but with the new lift, I am getting flashed like crazy. Any ideas? Thanks

I just re-did my retrofits the other day, and I am having the same issue, but it's the one to direct it left or right. I was planning on taking the headlights apart and aiming them without the front clear half. I am guessing the headlight bowl needs to be in a middle "happy spot" on the screws to adjust correctly (which I know I did not do ). I am afraid if I keep at it, I might strip out the plastic the adjuster rides along.

In for other people's opinions :)

I just played around with my headlights some more and the issue is only on my passenger set. The drivers side works fine as I was able to lower the beam. Unfortunately no luck with the passenger. Could some screw of come loose or some other way to lower the beam? I really do not want to have to take these apart, as I do not know what the retrofitted used on the product, but any options are much appreciated.

A few mods here and there and counting....
The threads could be stripped for the vertical adjustment screw. Another thought is the bowl is seated into a ball/socket in the upper corner. If it isn't seated properly, the alignment could be off but unfortunately you have to pull the lens off inspect the issues.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking that I was needing to bake the headlights to see what was going on with the lens off.

For my issue, looks like the plastic part for the headlight adjuster was stripped (cheap a** plastic). If you haven't taken yours apart yet, I snapped a couple pictures for you. That way you can head to the auto parts store and look for a replacement. :D It looks like it's threaded 10-32. In a pinch, I suppose you could find some 10-32 nut and jb-quick it to the housing. Hope this helps.

Edit: Looks like I found out why mine stripped. As I was adjusting, I couldn't see the clip that holds the HID bulb in. It got caught on the inside of the housing.
