Headlight cleaning/polishing

    Looks pretty normal for today's headlights. Pretty sure the hazing is on the outside if the light. Get yourself a headlight restoration kit and spend about 3 or 4 hours bringing them back to life. Don't scrimp on the kit. Get one that uses your drill as a buffer/polisher. Then once you're done, use some kind of UV protection and treat them on a regular basis.

    1500 grit sand paper, Wet sand it then spray Clear coat, Many youtube videos on it!

    I may be wrong but I thought there was a thread on here a while back and there was a couple of model years where Toyota was replacing the headlights due to some issue with them. I am thinking there was a time limit and it may have been due to hazing of the lens. I believe the thread title was something like DTRL melting. Hope this helps.

    I used Turtle Wax Headlight kit, I got great results without using the sandpaper. It took a lot of elbow grease but I like the results. The top pic is the before pic of the driver side headlight, bottom is the after pic of the passenger side.
