HI, my apologies if someone has already asked this, but does anyone know how to put in a headlight clip? 2009 Taco that has a metal clip that keeps the headlight bulb in, mine fell out while replacing the burnt out bulb and I can't get the bloody thing back in. Hardly any space to snap it back in, I suppose I can remove the battery (clip is the driver side headlight) so that I can move my hands more freely...but since I need to drive places, I just put a new bulb in anyways (sans clip) and am hoping that the rubber ring will hold it in place for the most part. So frustrating! (Unfortunately, couldn't find an appropriate vid on Youtube) I also apologize to my neighbors that had to hear my cursing...LOL.

If this has been mentioned before, can someone please attach the link so that I can take a look, thanks in advance.

I can attach a pic of the clip if need be.

    Cheers,
    Carl

I had to remove the windshield washer tank to replace the clip on my passenger side light. It is very tight if you mess up and free the retainer clip. I would just remove the battery if it were me.
