I did the BHLM mod about a month ago and have now noticed my passenger side fogs up. Any body have this issue? Is it really a big deal? Any remedies besides taking it apart. Thanks guys..

Condensation usually results from a bad seal. Dry it out then run a bead of silicone around the headlight housing.

The fogging is on the bottom part of the headlight.. Does that mean it's getting in from the bottom? I have never seen it fog but last couple days it has been storming. Any recommendations on silicone?

I believe people are using a (clear) window silicone. When you did the BHLM, did you use butyl and scrape out existing sealer or just put it back together?

Some here reuse the factory black adhesive when doing the BHLM. I agree with that you can't replace that black adhesive with silicone but silicone to seal around the exterior housing is fine. Try a hair dryer through the bulb opening to dry it out, then run a bead of clear flexible GE Silicone II you can get at Home depot around the connection of HL and housing. Also make sure the rubber boot of the bulb is secure when connecting it back in the housing. If this method doesn't work, remove the lens and old adhesive and use this:

Moisture is entering. Use a black flexible window setting strip putty from the auto parts store when sealing up lights after the mod.

I've heard a lot of retrofitters on Hidplanet.com using the GE silicone II to seal leaks
    http://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-Silic...-08-12C/100663308?keyword=ge+silicone+ii+gray

after I did my retrofit (I used the black butyl to reseal), the first two days of cold and rain I got some fogging issue which cleared after an hour. I bought the silicone II to seal it but before even getting around it , the fogging never came back. up to now with last week's cold/ice/sleet, I had no fogging issue.

only thing with silicone, I heard they are a bitch to take off if you ever decide to re-open the headlights
