    Hey guys,
So got my 2010 Tacoma a few years ago and love it. Its a US model 4x4 4 door short box. My issue is when I got it (I am in Canada) the dealer had to do the daylight conversion on it. They somehow have bypassed my light switch completely. My headlights are always on low. Fog light switch still works. I looked at the fuse box and did not see any bypass wires or anything (engine and inside box) Any idea what they could have done guys?

yeah so my headlights are on in the day. Everything else works great low/high and fog but my low beams are always on just acting as Daytime running lights. I want to be able to turn them off.

I don't have a solution. I find it odd that this was done. I live just south of the Alberta border and see Canadian vehicles all the time without lights on during the day. Vehicles from Sask, BC, AB...

Yep find it funny as well but all the dealers here that get USA vehicles do it. Generally they use some sort of headlight/daylight box but leave it to me to have some weird mod.

I have a 2011 and it did not have the DRLs. I wanted to have them so I installed a relay that installed behind the cab fusebox. Wonder if there is some type of relay that was install that basically does the same thing just with the headlights. Hope so, cause that would be easy.
