I want to change out my stock halogen headlights. I've seen 1st gens on the road with headlights and taillights that look similar to the new 2017 and 2018 Tacomas. What aftermarket setup options are available for first gens?

You’re probably seeing retrofit headlights, which are HID’s and sometimes LED Halos in an aftermarket housing.

They can range from $500-$1,000 if you have them built.

Here are mine, I bought everything from The Retrofit Source. I had a member on here build them for me. (You need to put the headlights in the oven to melt the adhesive) Specs are:
    • ACME H1 HID's
    • 6,000k Bulbs
    • 90mm Morimoto XB RGB Rear-Mounted Halos
    • 80mm Morimoto XSB Switchback Front-Mounted Halos
    • Gatling Gun 2.0 Shrouds

There exists ready to go “retrofits” for about $100-200. Do not buy them, they may look good, but they are not true HID’s. They are terrible quality and have worse light output than stock.
