I got that stupid hard to reach nut behind the fender off but do I need to remove the bolt too? Seems to be the only thing holding the light from coming out. I can move the light around but can’t get it to come out. I don’t want to brake anything I shouldn’t. Do I just need to force it? Thanks

Yeah I watched that video but it doesn’t show or say if that bolt needs to come out. I didn’t pull the inner fender liner down, was trying to get away with not doing it but I’ll do that now and see if that helps.

Ok call me an idiot. Pulled the liner back to get a good look and realized I removed the wrong bolt. I removed this nut right below it and thought the bolt that’s still there in that bracket was stopping me from getting it out. Thanks @HondaGM

When I replaced mine I laid on my back, stuck my hand up between the fender liner and plastic bumper, felt for the small bolt, put a socket on it, and removed the small bolt. I didn't remove the bumper cover or the fender liner. Just don't over-tighten it when replacing it. I suspect that is what the Toyota Tech does, only they have a lift.

Get some painter's tape and cover the lens with it so when put the new one in it will help to protect it from getting scratched. I also put tape on the metal edges of the body that could contact the lens. First time I removed them I put a nice scratch on one.
