for all those who have removed their headlights for any reason I have a
question. I have removed all 4 screws but cannot get the filler piece under
the headlight to release from the fender side. Out of all the bhlm threads I
have read, I have not seen this mentioned. What's the trick?

what I did is, say you are doing the left side, I turned the steering wheel all the way to the left undid the rain/mud protection thing and reached up inside there to get the last bolt out.

It is only held in by a clip going to the front fender and I think one screw(but you have probably already removed the screw). All you need to do is grab it and pull it towards the center of the truck and it will just pop out.

The filler under the headlight is what i'm talking about. Do you just put your
hand behind there and push forward?

    Thanks!

Got them out. One clip partially broke in the corner but still usable.
