Headlight replacement: AlphaRex Pro series projector or OEM???

    Greetings,

    Headlight noob, here...

    I'm about to replacement the cracked and faded headlight assemblies on my Gen 2 Tacoma. My question, for you knowledgable folks, should I replace with OEM through my mechanic? Or purchase a pair of these newer style projector headlights? H7 halogen high and low beam. I may have read mixed reviews somewhere on the latter, which are about $100-150 cheaper.

    Aesthetics don't mean a darned thing to me, but function and reliability do.
