Dayum, that's some blow! At least you're not in tornado alley! I'd stick to oem unless you're just in love with the aftermarket looks. Oems are regular fsb's for 2nd gens.

Think the headlights are pretty cheap. Just replace with some OEM ones.

Would the MESO plate alone work or did it crack the clear housing as well?

The headlight is cracked also unfortunately..... and I'm sure insurance would cover it, but might be less than the deductible.

OEM Headlights are around $650 per side from the dealer. You can find sets on here from time to time for $300-400 for the pair, expect to pay ~$100 shipping

You can get a replacement oem headlight for $150ish if you keep an eye on eBay and Facebook pages

My question too. You may be able to just replace the broken plastic insert....unless you're looking for an excuse to change your truck's eyeballs.

Thanks! Plug and play? I've been reading other brand reviews and they state plug and play, but end up needing connection work.... rather stay away form that if i can. I want this to be a "2 beer job" max.

I think ones that need a connection are the no DTRL one's right? Off road should be good. But don't quote me.

I bought some Depos off eBay and they were alright. The protective film on the lenses started to wear off after about a year, but that could be because I BHLM'd them. Not trying to shill for eBay here, but the buyer protection is pretty nice to have. You'll probably find some pretty good prices there too. Yours was drivers side right? These ain't too bad.
